Powered by 266 MHz OMAP TI processor, the new Toshiba G710 has built-in SiRF Star III GPS receiver and configured with 2.4-inch TFT LCD screen, and runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard. Aand as a smartphone, the G710 works on Quad-band GSM and suports GPRS Class 10 as well as EDGE networks.
Without subscription and the navigation software, Toshiba G710 will cost 250 € and with regional maps and the sat nav software installed it will go for 300 €. The maps will come on a 512MB microSD card and a version for maps of all of Europe is also expected.
