Garmin has new iPhone app for navigation that offers UK & Ireland mapping, free real time speed camera alerts, and traffic avoidance options. The new Garmin StreetPilot comes with an intuitive Garmin interface, ultra-fast map drawing, panning and zooming. Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), and iPad, the StreetPilot app also features Garmin’s exclusive PhotoReal junction view, lane guidance, 3D buildings, trip planner, and includes millions of inbuilt Points of Interest (POI). And last but not least, the Garmin StreetPilot App can be upgraded to include Garmin’s latest traffic technology and 3D Traffic live services.
Sygic Aura 3D Navigation Application uses Renderion and will be sold in Android market. Renderion is software that enables 3D graphics processing with CPU power alone, without GPU acceleration. This allows consumer electronics makers to adopt a high-quality 3D navigation application at lower development costs.
